Some of Jesus's teachings from The Sermon on the Mount are challenging like “Love your enemy and bless those who persecute you.” Some are just plain weird like “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off!”

Underneath it all is the message that God cares more about the disposition of our hearts than whether we "follow the rules". Let's follow Jesus as he helps us get to The Heart of It this summer.

In our game of Parenting Life, there are no rules. We all try to navigate the board that is set in front of us the best we can. We will stumble and fall and even succumb to different pitfalls along the way.

Whether the kids we parent or mentor are young children, teenagers, young adults, or full-grown adults, we have all fallen into at least one PARENT TRAP. In May we're learning how to instill faith into everyday family life for a lifelong relationship with Jesus.
