  • Baby Sleep Sound feat. Washing Machine White Noise 8 Hours | Soothe Baby, Infant Sleep, Calm Colic
    Apr 29 2024

For a baby that's crying, colicky and won't sleep, try playing this washing machine sound to help soothe your infant. The steady white noise resembles sounds heard in the womb and many babies find the ambience calming. Millions of parents use our baby white noise sounds every month.

While playing white noise for babies, it’s important to keep tabs on the volume, because any white noise machine, smartphone, or computer can put out levels that are too loud for your child. It's recommended to play the sound at least a few feet from where your infant is sleeping and to keep the volume no louder than the sound of a soft shower.

Parents can download an app to turn their smartphone into a sound level meter. One good, free, option is the sound level meter app created by the U.S. National Institutes for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) available on the app store as the NIOSH SLM app.

Soothe your crying baby and enjoy a moment of calm!

Stressful life melting away

I’ve had difficulty with sleep as far back as I can remember. A colleague recommended trying white noises. I searched and searched but only found short podcast that required constantly restarting and/or paying for 3 hours of looped recordings. I came across these podcasts and now I’m sleeping the best I have in years.

I really enjoy the title details, which paint the scene for you. They help you to mentally picture that quiet, safe, and relaxing atmosphere that someone can really appreciate. 5 stars across the board!! Very thankful for these guys!!

Relaxing indeed

I definitely enjoy the soundscapes in this podcast. They help me sleep or relax when I need to. There are a lot of nature ones, and a lot of wind chime ones that I also enjoy a lot.
