A spoiler-dense, chapter by chapter discussion of Gene Wolfe‘s science fantasy masterpiece The Book Of The New Sun, covering all four volumes and a little bit from Urth of the New Sun when necessary. They don‘t try to spoil anything else but, then again it‘s not a prepossessing podcast. https://www.patreon.com/rereadingwolfeCopyright 2020 All rights reserved. only a few episodes in but the fact that they're 3 years into the project and still discussing book 2 should give you a sense of the scope. I particularly enjoy the hosts' openness to feedback and discussions of listener theories. hoping they bring on guests with more diverse perspectives to discuss some of Wolfe's more problematic characterizations down the line.

impressively thorough, long-running, & responsive

This podcast is very well produced, well-paced, & both hilarious & profound. For those of us who too easily get lost in the sheer density of Wolfe’s books, ReReading Wolfe offers a blessed clarity & further reflection.

Highly recommended.

Funny, engaging hosts, enabled me to enjoy the wonderful Book of the New Sun

A boon for the discouraged reader
