Racial Inequality: A Beginner's Guide

Now is the time to face one’s own privilege and ignorance. Now is the time to listen. Now is the time to learn. In an effort to better educate ourselves, the ladies of InteresThing take our first, but absolutely not last, look at racial injustice. From the government’s attempt to vilify Martin Luther King Jr. and the Black Panthers, to the systematic mass incarceration of the black community, racial injustice has had its hold on the fabric of American society since its very inception. Join us as we attempt to educate ourselves, whilst continuing to listen, learn and support the Black Lives Matter movement in any way.
