Prologue

Every traveller once in his life dreams of traveling to the mountains. In fact, the real adventure of a traveller begins with his first encounter with the mountains itself, and no less. Once someone is bitten by the beauty of the mountains, his chances of returning home get slimmer with each encounter as the addiction is so consuming. My encounter with the Himalayas was more or less destined. If there’s anything that is good about serving in uniform, it is the opportunity to connect with the nature.
