To choose and to risk are two of the most frightening things we can do. In theory, it doesn't sound bad, but when people face a difficult choice or a great risk, things start to change.

Most people prefer not to take any chances and not to choose, if they can avoid it. It feels safe to avoid risky situations. It feels safe to not choose if you can. It feels safe to procrastinate and blame the lack of action on time. "I don't have enough time" is one of the most used phrases nowadays.
