    This week, we are reviewing the reviews of “Delusion in Death,” and there were so many bad reviews of this one, especially three 1-Star reviews all from men. The first one is especially bad when this man says: “One of THE MOST PAINFUL BOOKS in all of eternity…The story – depressing. The character – disgusting. The author – revolting.” The next 1-Star review says: “Everyone that exists in this book are smug pricks,” and the one after that says: “cannot survive outside the readership of a police community, far less outside the United States of America.” (Who’s going to tell him that this book was a best seller not only in the U.S., but all around the world.) There was also one reviewer who didn’t like this book because they thought the plot was too close to the James Bond movie: “A View to a Kill.” Spoiler Alert: It’s not. At ALL. Essentially, she created a “bracket,” which is what they use for “March Madness” basketball. She took most of the books (she left out a few novellas) and had the books compete against each other until we finally found a “winner.” Some of the results were surprising and interesting. After that, we find out that DANA was our Mystery Rap Lyric Writer! So we surprise her with an AI version of her song as a rap song! My Favorite Book Club

I've read the In Death series for years but never had anyone in my life that reads it that I can talk about it with. Listening to this podcast is like getting to sit around with my friends and talk about one of my favorite series. My biggest disappointment is that I can't join the conversation as I'm listening! Thanks for an enjoyable discussion, all. Looking forward to listening for a long time to come.

great discussion of great stories

I have really enjoyed reading along with AJ Jen and Tara. They have wonderful in-depth discussions on the continuing growth of our favorite Lt.
Thought provoking and laugh out loud funny.
My new favorite book club. Connected with an online community and special guests ( Suzan Ericsson!!!)
I've never really gotten into podcast before but I've just caught up on this one and eagerly await the next episode.

I just found this podcast and I am enjoying the discussion, the hosts and the format. However, the audible app is only playing every other episode, skipping the ones with the guest readers. Have given up on audible and searched out the podcast on another podcast service.

SOMEWHAT ENTERTAINING!
