We’re here today to chat about Park Chan-wook’s newest film ‘No Other Choice’ with friend of the pod Jared Garalde (@jjgara)! Park, famed director of ‘Oldboy’ & ‘The Handmaiden’, returns to our big screens to bring us the South Korean submission for Best International Feature Film at the 2026 Academy Awards.

Starring Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin, ‘No Other Choice’ tells the story of a recently laid-off paper mill worker on his path back to employment. We are fans of Park’s films and definitely found a lot to love with this one. Thanks for watching!
