The troubles continue for Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao following the FBI raid on her home last week, as her lawyer quit soon after a press conference yesterday he was apparently not aware was happening.

Oakland Mayor Sheng Tao is firing back against critics calling for her resignation following last week's raid on her home by federal officials.

Thao also questioned the timing of that raid, which came just days after officials confirmed that enough signatures were turned in to qualify a recall measure for the ballot.
