Pause

In a culture obsessed with speed, productivity, and constant noise, Scripture invites us to pause. From the very beginning, God models rest—pausing on the seventh day not out of exhaustion, but intention. Pausing is not weakness; it is worship.

Throughout the Bible, we see that God often does His deepest work in moments of stillness. Jesus regularly withdrew to lonely places to pray. Elijah encountered God not in the wind or fire, but in a gentle whisper. Psalm 46:10 calls us to “Be still, and know that I am God,” reminding us that clarity, direction, and peace flow from slowing down before Him.
