To begin my Verdun series I'm first taking steps back in history to talk about what sparked the animosity between France and Prussia. This will begin with the Middle Ages discussing Charlemagne's rule over Europe to the cause of the France-Prussian (German) War.

The drinks

When he tells you about his drinks it always makes me laugh. Me and my dad love to joke about it

Hooked

What was that saying, those that do not know history are deemed to repeat it? I recently developed an interest in WW1 and WW2. I have been reading and watching documentaries, seeking to educate myself. I stumbled on this podcast, and quickly became hooked. The podcast is packed full of pertinent, factual information, and the presentation definitely keeps my attention. In 2 days, I have binged to episode 21. Time for bed now, but I'll be sure to continue tomorrow.
