Opinion: The U.S Supreme Court Just Made Corruption Legal

In a landmark decision, the Supreme Court has ruled that gratuities given to public officials do not constitute bribery. This ruling comes as a relief to countless individuals and businesses who often show appreciation to government officials with small gifts or tokens of gratitude. The court's decision clarifies that genuine acts of kindness or appreciation should not be mistaken for corrupt acts of bribery.
