Self-invention is never over until we allow it to be. We can all be on the receiving end of some pretty impressive curveballs in life, some we never imagine or expect, and we can find ourselves a bit lost; it's the decisions we make at that moment that can change everything. In this podcast, I discuss areas of my life where I felt utterly lost which I'm sure some can relate to. I'll also be joined by some remarkable guests who will be baring all, discussing some of the most painful and challenging times in their lives, with a focus on how they kept going when everything seemed against them and how they've ended up very proud of where they are today. It is my hope that by listening to this podcast it will inspire you to take a leap of faith, because you never know what's waiting for you on the other side!

  • Jordan's Legacy
    Apr 28 2022

In today's episode, I'm talking with Steve Phillip, founder of The Jordan Legacy Foundation. Not long ago, I came across Steve's profile on LinkedIn and felt instantly connected to him and his son's story. Unfortunately, mental health and suicide affects millions globally, and to provide some context, one person takes their life every 40 seconds.

This story is one of a loving father and family who have made it their life's mission to reduce the frequency of completed suicides by improving mental well-being in society and business.

Jordan's story gives us perspective on what needs to change and provides guidance on how we can help change the outcome. I believe we can all individually make a difference if we educate ourselves, and it starts by talking about it and sharing stories like this.

If you would like more information on The Jordan legacy foundation or would like to support them, please see the link below.

  • Hopeless to Happy - A Story of Addiction & Recovery
    Apr 7 2022

In today's episode, I interview Linda Easto, the founder of Hopeless to Happy. Her organization helps families recover from the trauma they go through when a loved one becomes addicted to drugs or alcohol.

Many shy away from talking about addiction, and I'm grateful that Linda has shared her and her sons story; it gives hope that there may be light at the end of what can seem like a very long and dark tunnel.

If you would like to know more about how Linda's foundation can help you please see link below.

  • The Art Of Survival - With Maurice Blik
    Mar 31 2022

I had the pleasure of speaking with World-Renowned Sculptor and holocaust survivor Maurice Blik. We talk about his time at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, but then we get into his remarkable life journey that followed through to today, including how art has played an integral role throughout all stages of his life.

His words and experiences are lessons of someone with fearless determination. What is very clear is that his time, loss, and experience in Bergen-Belsen has not defined him. He is a true survivor and continues to educate and create sculpture with purpose, which you can see in his work or when you read his book (Art of Survival). His sculpture shows strength and courage, and quite clearly, so does the maker.

Maurice Blik's sculptures are not only a celebration of life but also an everlasting legacy that will carry his and his family's story for future generations to come.
