This episode is about goodbyes. Sometimes we know we are saying goodbye to a person, a relationship ends, someone moves to a country far away, or it is the sad times of serious illness and you know time is counted. Difficult feelings...

A friend of mine, Thomas Guilmet, said the very true words "we don't get to say goodbye twice". I'm grateful I heard him say that before the passing of my father, because it gave me the courage to say goodbye in a way that was very meaningful to me.

If you have lost a parent, a friend or a loved one, I am sorry for your loss.

    The Space in between

What happens in the space in between, of misinterpretations and projected wishes?

It’s about everything that happens in relationships, all sorts of relationships, where we are somehow invested. Whether it’s a family thing, parents, a sibling, maybe a friend, a colleague, an employee, your boss, or maybe it’s a romantic connection.

Either way, this happens in the space in between, in all relationships. In between of what is know, and what is unknow. Sometimes, we know certain details, and some elements are unclear, unspoken, completely hidden, or we’re simply unaware of them.

And yet, with what we know, and everything we feel; our subconscious programming, our patterns, our pains, our hurts, our dreams and wishes, with all that - we project “our piece to the puzzle” straight into that space in between - and it becomes ... fuller, or clearer, for good or bad. It can add more pain if it’s a conflict, make things even more complicated. And if it’s romantic, with some projected subconscious wishes straight into that space in between - maybe it even becomes beautiful!

When we lack facts, our imagination will step in and fill in the gaps, in whichever direction works best for us in that moment, and we just have to deal with the consequences of all that.

This episode is a story about something that happened to a woman in the space in between.

The things that happen in the space in between :) If you go there, and you’re wrong - you can still choose to keep the nice version of it, the one you projected, or created.

« The lemon ice-cream song” will forever be, the beautiful, romantic love song the man she never met, never sent her.

It's so easy to show up for people we love and care about. What do you need to do to show up for you? Shoutout to my friend Teo, who inspired me to record an episode after 479 days, well it turned out to be 481 days, of excuses.
