O - On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden

This month Alyx and Alice discuss Tillie Walden’s webcomic and graphic novel On a Sunbeam, a sweeping sci-fi adventure about first loves and found families. Our dynamic duo discuss the pros and cons of reading webcomics in different formats, how On a Sunbeam seamlessly mixes sci fi and fantasy and how that affects the pacing of the story, as well as relationships both familial and romantic. We also feature lots of new bookish news, including discussing the hateful treatment of debut novelist Molly X Chang, whose book, To Gaze Upon Wicked Gods, releases on 16th April.
