I found this podcast several years ago when I broke my leg- vanlifing in winter, in my home of Alaska. I quickly listened to all of the episodes and loved them! Jason's dad- humor is excellent and his modern commentary to the insane normalities of of the past is refreshing. I've realized, that over the years, because of this podcast, I've become versed in many tales from around the world. And learned that humans will be humans; continually making the mistakes people have been for millennia. All in all, give it a listen! I will forever be a listener :)

The stories are incredibly well adapted to the podcast format. I laugh out loud every episode & have heard so many fantastic stories over the years. My favorite podcast by far.

My favorite. Jason has a sense of irony, sarcasm and humor unmatched. Even more, he can condense all action and plot without missing nuance. He adds editorial commentary, fifth wall breaking and judgement in appropriate measures. (Personally he goes wokeish and me-too-ish way more than I would but he has a wife to please….)
