Murder-Suicide: The Hart Tribe tragedy and the theory of General Strain

The crime of Familicide always elicits shock and intense pain amidst and outside any community. The idea of a family member ending the lives of the people closest to them, to later commit suicide, leaves people wondering how could such a tragedy could have happened and wondering, where there any signs we didn't see? In this episode of Crime Theories 101, I will talk about the tragedy of the Hart Tribe, using the Criminological theory of General strain as a possible explanation of what could lead a person to commit such a devastating crime.
