  • Episode 12: The Finale - Oscar's Recap, Paddle Pod Preview, Sponsors, and Benched Bits
    Mar 23 2026
The guys have reached the triumphant conclusion to what many people are saying is the best Irish-themed movie podcast ever, maybe second after Lincoln. Fresh off their predictions that saw Tim lighting fire to his Oscar's bracket before flushing it down the toilet on Instagram Live, the guys talk about what winners they saw coming and what left them leaning back in their office chairs inhaling poison gas.

Tim then gives us a preview of what we can expect this year on the paddle pod as he continues to take an alternative approach to the sport, something he's calling Project: Sail Mary. The guys then send some love to all of their sponsors this season, before talking through some bits and episode ideas they just couldn't find the testosterone to pull off. Other questions answered:
    • For real though, how badass is the original Robocop?
    • Has Bob been listening?
    • Did E.T. listen far enough to hear us name a segment "I ain't goin!"?
    • Did E.T. then listen past that to learn we changed it to the "Bishop Bullwinkle 'To the naw naw"?
    • Will the next Bob Dylan biopic end with a mid credits stinger where we see a shimmering white glove enter the corner of the frame and a very high pitched voice asks "Bob, do they even know its Christmastime at all?" BUM BUM music and you see the words "Bob Dylan will return in BAND AID"?
A very special thank you to anyone who has read this far and/or has listened at all this season. Thank you to our sponsors:

  • Episode 11: Worst Friends in Irish Movies - A Saint Patrick's Day Special!
    Mar 17 2026
Happy St. Pattys Day! Or is it St. Paddys? St. Patrick drove all those snakes off the island; the least you could do is spell his name correctly. Contrary to everything he holds dear Colin is dead sober right now for this episode and he talks about the reason why. Then, as Mick at the Movies begins to wind down its epic run of episodes, it ends in the only way that makes sense, Colin talking about Irish movies. What follows is a personal collection of movies with terrible accents and focused specifically on an era where being Irish meant shooting guns, taking shots, and a superior technical efficiency in making car bombs. Questions he answers in this episode:
    • Is Colin really sober?
    • Why?
    • Does Colin whistle by blowing out or sucking in?
    • Did Brad Pitt listen to Tommy Lee Jones' terrible Irish accent and then pull up the Usher "Watch This" meme?
    • Is Sean Bean Irish?
    • When Colin tells Tim that they won't have time to get to Tim's Billy Bob Thornton rankings that he added to the outline five minutes before recording, does Tim cut off one of his fingers and throw it at Colin's door?

  • Episode 10: The Movies That Bind Us
    Mar 11 2026
Colin and Tim are back to search their souls for the films they've bonded over throughout the years, but first! The guys give an update on their legal battle against Big Canoe. Recent movie news has them saying that Heat 2 has a ... GREAT CAST! They then preview the Oscars this weekend and answer other smoldering questions such as:
    • Is "hunk" really short for Hungarian?
    • Would Troy have graduated with a Ph.D in jet propulsion and engineering if he hadn't have missed that one 8am class at Central Michigan University because Tim stole his bike?
    • Is hitting your RA's door in college with a bowling ball considered a Strike or a Spare?
    • How much money CAN you make by betting our Oscar's picks?
    • How many nuts is a lot of nuts?
    • What is Mr. Fancy Pants leading around here?
Also keep an eye out for a new soundbite that perfectly encapsulates what's going on with Shia Lebeouf right now.

  • Episode 9 - "Do Heavyweights"
    Mar 2 2026
Greetings Campers! Welcome to a Camp Hope sized episode with Colin and Tim where they finally give the fans what they have been asking for. But first - the guys respond to attacks on their journalistic integrity (something they never claimed to have) before a new segment called Planes, Tims, and Automobiles. They take a Billy Bob Thornton detour for some reason, before saying their farewells to West Canaan High School's best backup quarterback.

Remembering James Van Der Beek helps the guys look back on the 90's and the kid oriented boom of family friendly comedies that shaped us all, culminating in the most thorough examination of 1995's Heavyweights ever put on record. Questions we answer:
    • Has Troy ever seen Star Wars?
    • Does the dog from Sandlot have a name?
    • Why did Tim add Babe, Operation Dumbo Drop, and Cool Runnings to the list?
    • Would Vinessa Shaw have married me?
    • Did Rodney Dangerfield get respect at the end of Ladybugs?
    • Why has lunch been canceled?
    • Is that Gerry's dad sitting next to him on the plane? Why did Roy think it was?
    • Where is Lars from?
    • Is Salami Sam on his way?
    • Has anyone seen more butts than Tony Perkis?
    • What is the 18th Level of the PerkiSystem? When should you all be doing it by?

  • Episode 8.75 - A Mick in King Arthur's Court
    Feb 26 2026
Evil Saxon Stellen Skarsgard Voice "...Arthurrrrr..."

It's a Solo Micko episode today as Colin talks through three of his favorite King Arthur movies. He starts by shatting on Tim for turning into the Timestamp Police (a minute or so in), then apologizes to all the King Arthur movies he won't be talking about (right after that), before jumping into the meat and taters of the episode:

Excalibur (like 5 or 10 minutes in) the John Boorman directed epic from 1981 and how well it holds up.

First Knight (after Excalibur, probably around the 20 minute mark?) and how it had Colin's Partner yelling "is that his real hair?!?"

Finally, King Arthur (near the end maybe like 30 minutes or so, who cares?) from 2004 directed by Antoine Fuqua who has directed all three of Tim's favorite The Equalizer movies. Is this the best assembled collection of knights since Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights? Listen to find out!

Apologies for my audio. I recorded in the great hall where the round table is and it has terrible soundproofing.
