Live on Leadership with Beth and Jessica Sutter

It's not every day that I get to interview the President of the DC State Board of Education--but on today's podcast I did! When I met Jess she was a talented 8th grade teacher, and now she teaches policy at University of Maryland, consults for places like the Gates Foundation and is one of the most amazing elected officials I can think of, making change for kids. She spends a lot of time thinking about policy changes at all levels (school, district, city, state) and shares her amazing knowledge on it in our conversation. It was our first podcast with some tech difficulties, so you get to see the adaptability of leadership in action. (and we're working on that for future episodes, don't worry!)
