Publisher's summary

"Dear Kelly, Squirrel Girl (that’s me!) is about to have the most awesomesauce summer ever!"

It’s the summer of 2006 in Academy Award Winner Jamie Lee Curtis’ Letters From Camp, Season 2, and Mookie has reinvented herself from the "extremely annoying" and "overly personal"—their words—investigator who alienated the rest of the camp. Now she’s…well, she’s not sure yet, but it’s going to be cool beans. That is until a strange man shows up and takes over the camp. Charlie Cartwright tucks his camp shirt into his cargo shorts (ew!) and hates girls, music from after 1942, and fun. Not to mention he has a really weird accent. Mookie has sworn off investigating, but she also wants Camp Cartwright to go back to the way it was when Director Sue was in charge. Maybe just this one last investigation.…

Written by Boco Haft and produced by Jamie Lee Curtis and Russell Goldman, Letters From Camp, Season 2 reunites Sunny Sandler as Mookie and Jamie Lee Curtis as Director Sue, with performances by Edi Patterson, Kirby, and Daniel Radcliffe.

Now available in Dolby Atmos on Audible.

In addition, Curtis’s production company, Comet Pictures, has an overall deal with Blumhouse and next year Curtis will direct Mother Nature, an eco-horror film that she also co-wrote.
Curtis is the founder and CEO of the website My Hand in Yours, which is a charitable organization that offers comfort and celebration items with 100% of every sale being donated directly to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles—an organization that Curtis has been associated with for a very long time.

Great story for all ages

I started listening to season 1 with my oldest daughter (9). We were both thrilled to see this new season made available, and my youngest daughter (5) also began listening with us. The storyline and cast are excellent; at no point did I or my daughters feel bored. We ended up binging the last few episodes, and hope that the ending means another season is on the way!

Political commentary unnecessary in kids stories!

Fun story, it would be better without the politics. Good performance by the narrators. Loved the characters!

Cute for kids, nice reminiscence for some adults

Likely entertaining for some youngsters who have been or aspire to go to summer camp. Brings back some fond memories for adults that went to camp as youngsters. Kind of “hokey”, but pleasantly entertaining👍.
