Welcome listeners, to the latest episode of Let's Recover Together. We are delighted that Helen has joined us in the studio to talk about her life, which has been quite the journey!! At school she felt unpopular, something many of us will identify with. Helen first had suicidal thoughts when she was just 8 years old, and started drinking soon afterwards. Despite her drinking, Helen managed to be part of a competition dressage team in her teens, and got a degree at university. Her drinking ramped-up in her 20s, and in her 30s she suffered a major stroke. It was the wake-up call she needed, and today works as a life coach and is about to have her first book published.
