    In episode 8 of the Let Me Clear My Throat Podcast, we interview our friend Rahul Vanjani, M.D. He's currently Assistant Professor of Medicine, Clinician Educator at Brown, as well as a primary care physician. Rahul Vanjani previously worked in two different medical systems as a physician - San Quentin Prison and Rikers Island. While our goal was to discuss the Brown Guy's Guide to surviving prison (including Naitik's fear of not getting a vegetarian meal), Rahul intelligently brought the discussion to the more substantive issues of incarceration and health. Overall, it was a fascinating issue to be discussed from a perspective often not heard in the media. With the Bay Area experiencing tremendous growth in the housing market, Eli sheds light on the perils of unequal growth in communities and how those sympathetic to the values of a more inclusive society can take action on a local level to affect change.
