I liked how Meg and Amy covered the story. I have some additional questions about Kaia’s health. Her grandmother said she had trouble sleeping. What was she and the rest of Kaia’s family doing to help her? Why did they send Kaia to school if she was exhausted and cranky? Not trying to blame Kaia, and she did NOT deserve to be arrested, but many cases involving children call the actions of parents/guardians into question. Why not in this case? Has Kaia ever gotten treatment for her condition?
