Kari Lake is a failed politician. She ran for governor of Arizona and lost. She ran for the United State Senate and lost. She was successfully sued for defamation and was forced to settle. She has pushed the lie that Trump won the 2020 presidential election. So of course, Trump made her senior advisor to the U.S. Agency for Global Media. And now, Kari Lake is a defendant in a case being presided over by DC Federal District Judge Royce Lamberth, a Reagan appointee. As Politico reported, "Judge pauses cuts to US Agency for Global Media: Judge Royce Lamberth said the agency's 'concerning disrespect' for court orders under the leadership of Kari Lake would justify contempt proceedings."
