When I was in Washington D.C a few months ago, I visited the Natural History Museum. I read something there that said that spoken language began diversifying at least 100,000 years ago and that today there are over 7,000 different spoken languages around the world. That's wild! It also made me realize that no matter what spoken language we learned to speak, all of us are connected by another type of language - our emotional language.
In this week's Performance Tune-Up, I outline how we ultimately learned our spoken language through emotional cues and communication. I also talk about how our emotional literacy can dictate the outcomes and experiences in our life.
