A broad-based topically diverse podcast, unique in the field in that it takes on honest and earnest review of phenomena from across the popular press “hot topics”. Best of all, it does not give short shrift to the hard science, but rather lays out the depth and breadth of scientific understanding on a subject matter; then, it shifts gears to consider the same topic from the perspective of the Church. You’ll be surprised just how many issues in science and popular culture are not in opposition to Church teachings. Thought provoking.

Jimmy Akin’s podcast is unafraid to tackle issues from both a scientific perspective AND the Catholic teachings.

Some of the topics sound super interesting, some of the topics sound super dull. Somehow I'm drawn in to every single episode. Jimmy not only teaches about a topic using sound scientific methods, as well as teaches about the faith through a lens of something "mysterious" about our world, but in doing so, he also teaches how to be an amateur scientist and apologist by breaking down his method of exploration which in turn teaches us how to be better citizens of our universe.

Jimmy and Dom do an excellent job of presenting their mysteries in a fair, balanced, and highly entertaining way. I never am disappointed when I listen to an episode, even when it isn’t a subject I thought I was interested in. I always walk away having learned something new. Definitely worth a listen!

Jimmy Akin covers such a wide variety of topics in his podcast, from ghosts and bigfoot to aliens and government conspiracies, and everything in between. Combined with fair and impartial investigation using the twin perspectives of faith and reason there is bound to be at least one topic of interest to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful Jimmy Akin approaches every topic with an analytical mind that brings a sense of satisfaction and understanding to something mysterious in our world. From Ghosts and Demons to Aliens and the questions of history such as the mystery of Hitler’s religion. If you have an analytical mind you must listen.

This podcast is one of only a couple of podcasts I listen to regularly. Jimmy and Dom make a great team, and I always learn something new. Each episode leaves me fascinated and eagerly anticipating the next. Can't recommend highly enough!
