    Coach Bednar is still recovering from that errant puck he took to the face, so we let him sleep in this morning. We also don't know if he can talk? How easy is it to talk with a broken face and a scratched cornea? Either way, he earned a day off.
    No Moser, no Vic, no Bednar, no problem! The show must go on! Erik Johnson tapped in for the injured Coach and had a nice one-on-one chat with Kaner this morning.

    Because of their travel schedule, Coach Bednar joined us a little early this morning. Last night, Bedsie said he thought his team played sloppy overall and that Wedgewood bailed them out time and time again. Wedgie was the best player on the ice for Colorado. Does he still feel that way this morning? How great is it to have guys re-entering the lineup? The line combos are starting to look more "normal" again, if you will.

    The Avalanche got SHELLACKED by Pittsburgh on Monday night, and they have a massive game against Dallas tonight. For all the marbles in the Western Conference (essentially). How is Head Coach Jared Bednar feeling ahead of the game? Is his battered, beat up, bruised squad ready?

    Also, Nathan MacKinnon made a comment after the Pittsburgh loss about how the lineups weren't working, and shouldn't look they way they did. Everyone's been making a big deal out of it on social media. MacKinnon called out his coach! Here's the thing...Coach told us today that MacKinnon's comments weren't out of line at all. In fact, Bedsie agrees with him.
