Interview with Nathan Riley, the Holistic OB/GYN

In this week’s episode, we welcome Nathan Riley, the Holistic OB/GYN, to our podcast. Nathan is a home birth doctor and holistic gynecologist. He is dual-board-certified in allopathic medicine, and brings in tools from other modalities like functional medicine and nutrition, lifestyle coaching, and midwifery to optimize the care of his clients.

In this episode, we talk about how he decided to start his own OB home birth practice after working in the hospital system for years. We also discuss his  experience with the birth of his children, including a home birth experience with his second child. We talk about C-sections and the risks behind repeated C-sections, as Nathan shares his recent experience taking care of a client during a home birth.
