Videographer/Filmmaker David Shin and Singer/Songwriter Kaiya get right into the exploration of the trials and tribulations of living as a creative on the first season of their new podcast You Are (Art).

Both artists share their personal battles with self belief, motivation and the pressure that comes from pursuing their passions daily. They discuss the futility of conventional education when it comes to art and the things they had to teach themselves in order to work well in the creative industry like monetization, healthy boundaries and work/life balance. The two also explore the state of their mental health and share their solutions in maintaining motivation to continue creating as independent artists.
