  • 340 Ready to Reclaim Your Attention? ADHD Professor Reveals Brand New ADHD Accountability Cycle
    Oct 7 2025

In this episode, our returning guest expert (and favorite friend of the podcast!) Dr. Nacchi Felt joins us to unveil the brand-new Cycle of Accountability—the life-direction loop that helps ADHD brains point their power at the right targets.

    Inside the loop:

Alignment — Name your values (think truth, responsibility, gratitude) so decisions stop feeling random.

Accountability — Drop the “shoulds.” Hold yourself to what you care about.

Attention — Your attention is your presence. Reclaim it as your birthright.

Attachment — Safe relationships supercharge the loop and keep you present.

But here’s the deeper truth: safety and acceptance are the foundation that make this loop possible. Being “safe” means you can be fully seen and still contained—someone can sit with you in your hardest moments without pulling away. That’s a rare experience for many ADHDers, and therapy or coaching can provide a version of that safety while you learn to build it yourself. From playful co-regulation with a child to a friend’s honest reassurance, relationships that combine honesty and containment create fertile ground for growth. When you experience that kind of attachment, it not only soothes your nervous system—it also strengthens your alignment with your values and makes accountability feel natural, not forced. You're not going to want to miss this episode!

  • 338 From “Leaf in the Wind” to Coach: Sarah’s ADHD Glow-Up
    Sep 30 2025

Have you ever felt like a leaf in the wind—just being blown around by life instead of steering it?

That’s exactly how Sarah described her life before finding ADHD coaching.

Sarah opens up about what life was like before coaching—feeling passive, stuck, and like she wasn't really in control. She shares the struggles that led her to seek support, why she chose FOCUSED, and the powerful shifts she’s made by learning to process emotions instead of buffering them away.

We talk about emotional regulation tools and how they helped Sarah change her relationship with her feelings, and even how coaching tools showed up in her dreams. She gets real about using coaching tools “against herself,” the mindset shift that changed everything, and what life feels like now compared to just a few years ago.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, unmotivated, or afraid to invest in yourself, Sarah’s story will give you hope and a peek at what’s possible.

Stop waiting for motivation to come.
Stop beating yourself up for working at the last minute.

OMG - these are HUGE realizations for me. I've always said that if it weren't for deadlines, I'd never get anything done. I am a MASTER PROCRASTINATOR, which often leads to me creating a lot of undue stress due to the guilt I feel in putting things off until the last minute. I need to learn to accept this about myself, because I know it seldom changes & let's be honest, under pressure is when I do my best work!! Thank you for the validation in that & helping me to see that I need to give myself a little grace because I always come thru clutch.

Now I shall unpause this episode & continue my listening binge while I finish the massive project I'm working on (under the gun, of course 🤣)!!

Just discovered your podcast last night, 3 episodes in & I am HOOKED!

PS - I still don't have my taxes done!! Appointment with my accountant is Friday & I have yet to compile my business expenses! And no, that's NOT the project I'm currently working on, either!! 🥹

YOU JUST 🤯 MY MIND
