  • Where the Car Stopped: Jennifer Mbugua

    In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: In May 2014, 31-year-old Jennifer Kabura Mbugua was last seen sitting in her car outside her apartment in Fall River, Massachusetts. Hours later, her vehicle was discovered abandoned behind a gas station in nearby North Attleborough. Her keys and a sandal were found near the car, and her license, wallet, and paperwork were still inside. Jennifer was nowhere to be found. Surveillance cameras later captured the car arriving at the gas station, but the footage was not clear enough to determine who was driving. More than a decade later, Jennifer has never been located, and her disappearance remains unsolved.

    In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: On March 17, 2010, 32-year-old Sandra Latrail Robinson, a mother of four, was working inside a small store along South Madison Avenue in Douglas, Georgia. Sometime between 6:00 and 7:00 that evening, something happened inside the business. When authorities arrived, the store was closed and the doors were locked. Inside, they discovered Sandra, who had been fatally wounded. For years, the case remained unsolved as investigators worked to piece together what happened during that narrow window of time. More than fifteen years later, authorities announced a major development after forensic evidence helped move the investigation forward. But even with an arrest, investigators say the case is still active and they continue to seek information from the public.

Three women were shot in the chaos, including 21-year-old Sheeyta Elaine Herrin, who did not survive. Minutes later, a second shooting was reported across town, leaving two additional people injured. Investigators said some of the individuals involved in the second shooting had been at the American Legion earlier that night, but exactly how the incidents are connected remains unclear. More than five years later, Sheeyta Herrin’s homicide remains unsolved, and the question of who was responsible continues to linger.
