"I can’t thank you enough for this podcast! My husband and I, also celebrating 30 years of marriage, have faced some of the same struggles you’ve discussed, and listening to your stories was like hearing our own. When you mentioned times of financial strain—worrying about paying for kids’ sports programs, scraping together gas money, or watching checks bounce—it hit so close to home. My husband even tried starting his own business, and like you, we faced plenty of hardships along the way.

I always felt alone in these struggles, especially as a teacher; I thought I was supposed to have it all together and was embarrassed to admit what we were going through. But hearing you share your journey, openly and honestly, made me feel understood and not alone for the first time.

Your advice and openness have been a true gift to us. Thank you for sharing your experiences and reminding us that we’re not the only ones who’ve faced these challenges in marriage.
