elix is about to resign himself to a life locked up in his cell phone when Moxie reveals that she is entering Felix (or at least his body!) in the school talent show. Worse, she’s planning on reading a poem that Felix wrote which reveals who he has a crush on at school. Felix panics and resolves to stop Moxie before she goes too far. very disappointing!

if you have any religious or conservative values at all stay away from the story and do not listen to this podcast. this story ends with a 10 year old boy reading a poem to his entire school at a talent show with a subtle but obvious message about how he is coming out as homosexual. I'm glad I listened to the entire story before allowing my daughter to hear it. let me be clear. Her mother and father are both living with lifelong disabilities. she is no stranger to people who are different. And we teach her to be loving and accepting of the differences of everyone. but that is a far cry from teaching her that homosexuality is normal and acceptable and should be celebrated. to the author of this story, nice try. This current was just a little too aware of your subtle messaging. I'll be looking for another podcast that is more in line with my values and what I am trying to teach my kids.
