Eye Opener

This was an eye opener. I had no idea. I’d heard people say that chemo can damage the healthy parts of a person’s body while fighting their cancer, but damaging a sick person’s body while doing nearly nothing (in most cases)? It’s criminal that this is allowed. False hope. When I think of all the people I’ve loved and lost to cancer, and how they suffered taking chemo., it infuriates me to know it was for nothing. Someone close to me was still getting chemo. when everyone knew he was on his way out. It was nothing but an act to make people feel better because they were doing SOMETHING. I’d rather have peace and honesty & be left alone than to be humored like that. Now I know what questions to ask and where to go with my own research should I ever be in a situation where chemo. is offered to me.
