What began as a fake inheritance scheme spiraled into a brutal murder involving a phony attorney, a conman posing as a prince, a disgraced real lawyer, and multiple accomplices. We trace the crime from December 2008 through years of fraud, cover-ups, judicial misconduct, overturned convictions, retrials, and finally, justice in 2025. This case exposes greed, manipulation, and how money - when used improperly - can destroy lives.

    Lindsay Shiver, 36, a Georgia mom and former beauty queen, and her estranged NFL-star husband Robert Shiver’s marriage imploded into tragedy. Amid a nasty divorce and custody battle over their three boys and $2.5M Georgia mansion, Bahamian police uncovered WhatsApp messages Lindsay allegedly sent to her lover Terrance Bethel and alleged hitman Farron Newbold Jr. that included photos of Robert with another woman and the chilling words “kill him.” Arrested in the Bahamas with her co-accused, she’s pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, released on bail with a GPS monitor, and faces trial in March 2026.
