What would Jesus write if He addressed you by name? In Revelation’s seven letters—to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea—we find a pattern that still reads the modern heart: commendation, correction, warning, and promise. We see Ephesus with its busy hands and orthodox minds yet missing first love; Smyrna’s hidden riches in the midst of suffering; Pergamum’s drift as inclusion overrides conviction; and Thyatira’s growth compromised by tolerated corruption. Sardis warns against confusing reputation with reality, while Philadelphia shows how even “little strength” combined with steady loyalty can open doors no one can shut.
