    Stanford University’s Dr. Nolan Williams is one of the world’s leading researchers on psychedelic medicine. He joined Rep. Crenshaw to talk about the revolutionary clinical trial he recently conducted with the psychedelic ibogaine to treat veterans suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Industry, and addiction. The clinical trial showed a phenomenal 83% remission rate for participants after just one treatment. Dr. Williams explains what ibogaine is, the experiences patients have while taking it, what we know about how it affects the brain, and how it differs from classic psychedelics like MDMA and psylocibin. They also discuss the potential for ibogaine treatments to combat America’s addiction epidemic.

    Nolan Williams, MD, is an Associate Professor of neurology and psychiatry at Stanford University and the Director of the Stanford Brain Stimulation Lab. Support and empower our veterans!

This is a really dynamic podcast that brings to light an issue with the current system, but then goes a step further and brainstorms potential ways of correcting the system to encourage our veterans to own their story! Rather than treating post-traumatic stress injuries with medication and isolation, we need to help our vets feel connected, to have a purpose and a plan! Well done, gentlemen!!!

There are groups out there working to help veterans heal from these injuries. The Heal the Hero Foundation works to provide access to neuro-supportive programs to vets across the country, to create increased resilience in a drug-free, non-medical program that costs just a FRACTION of what a single year of meds to “treat” PTS costs.

If we support our vets, we support their families and their communities, and ultimately, the nation.

I have listened to a few of Dan's podcast's so far, and I like him now even more, these podcast's have good guests' and all the topics are important, I think Dan is a true patriot who loves this country and just wants our country to go in the right direction.

I heard your book Fortitude and it gave me a lot encouragement, especially since our views regarding faith and life's issues (although different in a sense) are very relatable and applicable to every day life
