Episode 63 begins with a compliment from one of our listeners, Rob Miller. Thanks for listening Rob!!!! The adventures begin in September 23rd, 2005 with the Cross Canadian Ragweed family jam. Before red dirt bands were trying to get their music played on Rock radio, like Koe Wetzel, Southall, Whiskey Myers, or artists like Jelly Roll getting played on country radio, the Oklahoma band Cross Canadian Ragweed held an annual event called The "Cross Canadian Ragweed Family Jam" where they added rock bands & other artists outside of the red dirt scene to the festival... Family Jam had rock bands like Tesla, Buckcherry, Toadies, & The Black Crowes.... They were so far ahead of their time!!!! 2005 saw Oklahoma natives Hinder release their major label debut on Universal Records & the CD release party with Winter Circle & Wither.... In true Max fashion, we discuss a legendary metal show at Bricktown Live with Unearth, Dillenger Escape Plan, Zao, & A Life Once Lost....
