Love ❤️ at Home: Having No Children is Not an Excuse for Sexual Promiscuity

By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

NOT EVERYONE IN LIFE WILL HAVE CHILDREN. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE WHO DIED WITHOUT CHILDREN. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL DESIRE TO HAVE CHILDREN SO MUCH THAT THEY END UP BEING PROMISCUOUS OR ENTER INTO POLYGAMY JUST TO HAVE A CHILD.

1 Chronicles 2:32

And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

‭‭ GOD’S IDEAL FROM CREATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE MAN TO ONE WIFE. SARAH’S DESPERATE DESIRE FOR A CHILD LEAD ABRAHAM IN TO COMMITTING ADULTERY BUT IT BACKFIRED ON SARAH

Genesis 11:29-30

And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah. 30But Sarai was barren; she had no child.

Genesis 16:1-4

Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. 2And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. 3And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. 4¶And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

THERE IS NO FAMILY SITUATION THAT JUSTIFIES IMMORALITY! BE FAITHFUL TO THE MARRIAGE VOW EVEN IF YOU ARE BARREN.

Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬ ‭ESV‬

“Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.”‬

Proverbs 5:18-21

Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. 19Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. 20And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? 21For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.

YOU MAY HIDE YOUR SIN THAT YOUR SPOUSE MAY NOT KNOW BUT YOU CANNOT HIDE IT FROM GOD.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE US FROM THE CONDEMNATION OF GOD’S HOLY LAW.

Romans 7:14-17

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

1 John 2:1-2

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
