  • From Alcoholism to Freedom (S4E12)
    Apr 1 2026

How does a story of alcoholism transform into a story of freedom?

In this episode, Pastor Randy sits down with Matt Kosak to share a powerful and honest journey through alcoholism and into lasting freedom (14 years and counting)!

At 12 years old, trying to fit in at a new school, Matt took his first drink. It did not seem like a big deal at the time, but it set a direction that unfolded over the years through blackouts, rehab, depression, self-reliance, and ultimately surrender at the foot of the cross.

This story is not just about alcoholism. It is about the mercy, patience, and grace of God that still transforms lives today.

  • Why We Worship the Way We Do (S4E11)
    Mar 25 2026

In this episode, Pastor Hadley and Lexi walk through the biblical foundation of worship and challenge us as a church family to move beyond comfort, preference, and cultural norms into worship that is shaped by God’s Word.

Worship is not meant to be passive or held back. It is a full response to who God is and what He has done.

They explore seven Hebrew expressions of worship found throughout Scripture:

    Zamar — instrumental worship
Worship is not just singing. Scripture shows us that playing instruments is an act of praise to God.

    Tehillah — spontaneous singing
A personal, unrehearsed song that flows from remembering what God has done.

Yadah / Towdah — lifted hands and sacrificial praise
Worshiping with our hands, even in difficult seasons. Choosing to praise before breakthrough comes.

Barak — kneeling before the Lord
A posture of surrender and humility in a self-focused culture.

    Shabach — loud, exuberant praise
Bold, expressive worship that reflects the worth of God.

Halal — uninhibited, even “foolish” praise
Worship that is free from fear of man and full of joy in God’s presence.

Throughout the conversation, Hadley and Lexi challenge us to lay down fear and step into worship the way God designed it—formed by Scripture, not by comfort.

If you’ve ever wondered why we raise our hands, sing spontaneously, or express worship in different ways, this episode will bring clarity and invite you into a deeper, freer response to God.

  • Why Easter Still Matters (S4E10)
    Mar 18 2026

In this conversation, Pastors Randy and Nate unpack why the resurrection of Jesus remains the defining event of the Christian faith. Easter is not simply a tradition or a historical moment. It is the foundation of everything Christians believe.

They explore how the resurrection confirms that Jesus truly is who He claimed to be, proving His authority and validating the message of the gospel. They also discuss how the empty tomb declares victory over sin and death, giving believers confidence that death does not have the final word.

The resurrection is not only about our future hope. Because Jesus rose from the dead, believers are given new life today. The same power that raised Christ now works in those who trust in Him, bringing transformation, freedom, and living hope.

Finally, Randy and Nate reflect on how the resurrection guarantees our eternal future. Jesus is described as the “first fruits,” meaning His resurrection points to what is coming for all who believe.

Easter reminds us that because Christ is risen, our lives today and our future forever are filled with hope.

  • From Atheism to Faith (S4E9)
    Mar 11 2026

What happens when a curious mind begins asking deeper questions about the universe, truth, and meaning?

In this episode, Pastor Randy Hahne sits down with Austin Sailer to talk about his journey from atheism and agnosticism to Christian faith. Austin works in biotech and has always been driven by curiosity — wanting to understand how the universe works.

Growing up in a home where religion wasn’t often discussed, faith wasn’t a major part of his life. In college, he was exposed to natural science and the theory of evolution in a deeper way. The ideas were compelling and led him to conclude that God wasn’t necessary to explain the universe.

As he continued studying and observing the natural world, something began to shift. The remarkable design he saw in nature started raising questions that pure material explanations couldn’t easily answer. That observation became a catalyst that moved him toward agnosticism — the realization that there might be more behind the universe than he had previously considered.

From there, several other factors began shaping his journey: the “language-like” structure embedded in creation, the historical evidence surrounding Jesus and the Bible, the challenge of grounding morality in a purely scientific framework, and the widespread documentation of near-death experiences.

The shift toward Christianity didn’t happen overnight. It unfolded through a series of moments — conversations with his wife, becoming a father, beginning to attend church, and eventually encountering the presence of the Holy Spirit and opening himself to personal transformation.

Austin’s story is thoughtful, honest, and compelling for anyone who has wrestled with the relationship between science, evidence, and faith!

  • Why Invest in Your Marriage? (S4E7)
    Feb 25 2026

Healthy marriages don’t happen by accident. They’re built with intention.

In Episode 4.7, Elder Brad and Candy Morrow share their story — the years that have shaped their marriage, the seasons that stretched them, and the lessons they had to learn the hard way. They speak candidly about moments when their marriage needed strengthening and what changed when they chose to invest instead of drift.

Together, they unpack why even good marriages slowly weaken without intentional focus. They address common struggles couples face today, the subtle areas many couples assume they’re “fine” in (but likely aren’t), and why waiting for crisis is never the goal.

Brad and Candy also share why they said yes to leading the 8-week Alpha Marriage Course and what makes it different from trying to figure things out on your own. Whether newly married or decades in, this course offers practical tools to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and build long-term resilience.

    They also address honest hesitations:

    • Is this only for couples in crisis?
    • Will I need to share all of my marriage problems?
    • What if our marriage is already strong?

Most of all, this episode offers hope. When couples invest intentionally, growth happens. Connection deepens. Unity strengthens.

If you’re married, this conversation is for you — not because something is wrong, but because something can grow.

  • Behind the Call to North Fargo (S4E6)
    Feb 18 2026

What does it actually cost to say yes to God?

In this episode, Pastors Nate and Whitney Leedahl speak candidly about the story behind the launch of our North Fargo location—not just the logistics, but the discernment, stretching, and personal formation that came with it.

They take us back to the early moments when they first sensed God might be calling them to step into something new. What hesitations surfaced? How did they discern together as a couple? They reflect on the prayers, confirmations, and anchor points that gave them clarity when the path felt uncertain.

Launching a new location wasn’t just a leadership assignment—it impacted their rhythms, margins, family life, and marriage. In this honest conversation, they talk about the personal cost, the areas where they felt stretched, and what they discovered about themselves and about God in the process.

Beyond the logistics, they reflect on culture—what kind of church environment they were intentional to build from day one, how they empowered others to take ownership, and the moments that reminded them why the mission matters.

For anyone feeling stirred to step out in faith—whether to serve, give, lead, or simply trust God in a new season—this conversation offers both encouragement and perspective.

If you could go back to day one of a big step of obedience, what would you tell yourself now? That question closes a powerful and personal episode about calling, discernment, and trusting God when He invites you into something bigger than yourself.
