In this episode, journalist and director Charlotte Blum meets with Queen Megan Jasper, CEO of Sub Pop, the indie label that started it all. In the 80s, Megan Jasper started a long career alongside the label’s co-fondators Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman as a receptionist and fell in love with the creativity, the bravery and the humor that ran in Sub Pop’s veins. The conversation takes place in the label’s headquarters in Seattle, surrounded by stickers of Mudhoney, Soundgarden, The Shins, Fleet Foxes and Sleater-Kinney.
