AFL clubs will continue to struggle financially for years to come and the Brisbane Lions CEO says staff cuts will go into next year with further changes coming.

"Logic says that's going to mean that you lose staff; you're going to try and cut costs wherever you can without having to cut your staff but I think it's inevitable," Greg Swann told 6PR's Front and Centre.
