I was a raging alcoholic for many years and I tried to quit numerous times on my own. So, my wife, who had a 5% chance of getting pregnant, got pregnant. Not a good spot for an alcoholic to be in. I went to a meeting, God put this guy in my life, and he said, "That little girl never has to see you drunk." And at that time, it wasn't about me anymore. It was about her. And God knew that that's exactly what I needed to hear to change my life. And I quit drinking that day,She turned 12 on May 5th, and I'll celebrate 13 years this October, and she will never meet that guy. Every song brings you back to what really matters.
