    Paul Holbert is a 21-year retired Army veteran and author who channels his experiences and imagination into compelling works of adventure and fiction. Despite ongoing health challenges from his service, Paul uses writing as therapy for PTSD and as a platform to inspire others. Dedicated to supporting fellow veterans, Paul volunteers with Hero’s Bridge, a nonprofit serving aging veterans, and hosts the Going Solo Veterans Corner on the NEW Streaming Network to raise awareness and offer resources. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, works for a federal agency, and also serves as an adjunct professor.

    More about Operation Helping Hand: Operation Helping Hand Tampa, an all-volunteer 501c3 organization, provides support and assistance to active duty service members and veterans of all conflicts post 9/11/2001 who receive care through the James A Haley Polytrauma Rehabilitation Unit. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting therapeutic rehabilitation programs (music, art, dance, virtual reality, gaming), direct in-patient care and support for patient families. Our goal is that over 96.5% of all contributions go directly to programs, patients and families we support.
