  • Addition, Relapse and Recovery
    Apr 8 2026

On Wednesdays we go in depth on one topic in particular - today addiction, relapse and recovery are in focus as we look at the support systems in place and the realities behind dependency.

The Care Agency's Homes Manager Paul Bush and consultant psychiatrist AshimBettadapura join us first to discuss treatment, care and long term recovery pathways.

Understanding addiction also means understanding the therapeutic process behind recovery. Therapists Maxine Teuma and Clare Hunter explained how treatment works and how people can rebuild their lives.

We also spoke to some members of the community who are in recovery and will be sharing their honest stories and real insight into the world of addiction.
