Send me a one-way text about this episode! I'll give you a shout out or answer your question on a future episode.

For this Homemaker Portrait, I chat with my friend, Karen Sheppard, about homemaking through generations. Karen is a veteran homemaker who has cultivated a place to belong not just for herself and her husband, but for her children and her grandchildren. Just as she was deeply influenced by her grandmother, Karen works to influence her grandchildren and hopefully, one day, her great-grandchildren. Her story is a testimony to the value of investing in the future by practicing the art of home.

I found The Art of Home podcast after listening to the host Allison being interviewed on another podcast that I love. Her homemaker portraits have been so insightful and encouraging as each homemaker shares their unique stories, struggles, and wins! Monday Motivations are great when I literally need motivation to just do the dishes for 10-15 minutes! And the deep dives have really challenged me to be intentional in developing my skills for homemaking and spiritual disciplines like prayer! Thank you Allison for using your creativity and wisdom as well as all these other wonderful ladies!
