    In this first interview of season two, I got to interview a small business owner and candidate for United States House of Representatives Randy Niemeyer. Randy is a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana and has held multiple leadership positions in his community. Of course, he is probably best known for his successful family-owned milk transfer business named Niemeyer Milk Transfer, Inc. Additionally, he has served as a town councilman for Cedar Lake and a county councilman for Lake County. He is an impressive leader with experience in the business and community sectors. I hope you enjoy his wisdom and advice about leadership and for young people.

Huston has a bachelor's degree in political science from Indiana University Bloomington. He has been a state rep since 2012 and the Speaker of the House since 2020. He has also been on the Indiana State Board of Education and the Indiana Education Roundtable. He represents District 37 in the Indiana General Assembly. Huston is a Hoosier, a hard worker, and a great person who gives insightful advice in this episode.

    In this episode, host Gabriel Gary interviews a teacher of 30 years and candidate for Porter County Council Bob DeRuntz. DeRuntz has an impressive record of being an outstanding teacher. He won the Duneland School Corporation Teacher of the Year in 2021. In 2022 he was a top 10 finalist for Indiana Teacher of the Year. Most recently he was named Indiana Outstanding Teacher of American History in 2023. DeRuntz serves as Chairman of Negotiations for the Duneland Teachers Association and is on the Board of directors for the Porter County Parks and Recreation.     In this episode of Gen Z on Leadership host Gabriel Gary interviews Indiana State Senator Rodney Pol. Senator Pol represents District 4 in the Indiana General Assembly. Pol attended Indiana University Bloomington and majored in political science, music, and psychology. He also got his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He has previously worked as the City Attorney for Gary Indiana and as a public defender in the Indiana State Public Defender's Office. He is currently 39 and the youngest member serving in the Indiana Senate. Not only does Senator Pol have notable leadership experience but he also has phenomenal life advice. He discusses how to run a successful political campaign, connect with people, and work with others productively. I hope you enjoy this episode!

A conservative news service he started at the age of 11. Brilyn is the Founder and Co-Chair of the RNC Youth Advisory Council. Brilyn is a recipient of the John Lewis National Youth Leadership Award.

    Brilyn just wrote his debut book One Generation Away: Why Now is the Time to Restore American Freedom. His book is going to be published on July 9th, 2024. In the episode, Brilyn talks about facing criticism, overcoming challenges, and being a leader in tough times. Enjoy the episode!
