We also talk about the fit of 6'3+ forward Oliviyah Edwards, what her playing time could be, and is she willing to wait behind a number of veteran, returning players, including Joyce Edwards, Chloe Kitts, and Ashlyn Watkins? Then Alex Jones from TheBigSpur.com joins the show, we talk Gamecock Football, spring wrapup, go in depth on the WR and OL positions on offense, and the depth of the Defensive tackle and safty rooms, and what kind of role could some newcomers carve out, like J'Zavien Currence, Noah Clark, Jordan Thomas, Kelby Collins, and Tomiwa Durijaiye? • Staley, Gamecocks Advance to 6th Straight Final Four, Gamecock Football Springs Forward
    Apr 1 2026

I open the show with the stats for South Carolina WBB in this NCAA Tournament, the rare air that Dawn Staley's program is in, with only Uconn and Geno Auriemma having more than six straight Final Fours. I answer a couple of questions from the Nanasporch.com chat box, then Alex Jones joins me. I ask him his 3 take-aways from Spring Practice thus far for the offense and the defense. Then we discuss the new Most Interesting Man in the World. His name is Neff Giwa. Then its a breakdown of the offensive and defensive depth chart. After that, Brice Hedgecock, the co-host of the Gamecocks Basketball Only podcast joins the show. We go in-depth on South Carolina WBB, their path to the Final Four, the rarified air to whcih Dawn staley has ascended with this program, the talent on the roster, the talent that is incoming, and the matchup with UConn, and the UCLA vs Texas picks. Finally I make my UConn-South Carolina prediciton to end the show.

  • JORDAN KAYE TALKS GAMECOCKS, LATEST ON WBB IN SACRAMENTO
    Mar 26 2026

we lead the show with the latest headlines on Gamecock Sports, then Jordan Kaye from GoGamecocks.com and TheState.com joins the show. We take as deep dive on the dismissal/resignation of Paul Mainieri, Monte Lee and the staff reorganization, and examine some of the names associated with the position. We then move to Gamecock MBB and Lamont Paris. With one assistant coach already dismissed, what other staff changes are on the horizon? What will his NIL budget be, and who will help him rebuild the roster? A little bit of Spring Football talk, and then I end the show discussing the Gamecock WBB path to The Final Four, the discrepencies in regional scheduling, and South Carolina Women's Basketball Fatigue given that neither Dawn Staley is a finalist for The Naismith National Coach of the Year, and Raven Johnson, the SEC DPOY, is not a finalist for National Defensive Player of the Year.
