Fyodor Dostoevsky was a Russian novelist, philosopher, and essayist. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential writers of all time, often cited as a major influence on existentialism and other modern philosophical movements. He is especially known for works such as Crime and Punishment, The Idiot, The Brothers Karamazov, and Notes from Underground.
