Richard is joined on the podcast by consultant hematologist Dr Suzy Morton. During the episode we discuss interpretation of Full Blood Counts. Including, a introduction to platelets and common reasons for platelets being affected. We then utilise Suzy's knowledge to discuss cases including thrombocytosis and thrombocytopenia. Including, pertinent history, further investigations , red flags and referral.
